Vice President at Interactive Media For Health & Wellness-Focused Creative Studio

Eyes of the World Media Group ( produces health and wellness-oriented media projects for clients like the United Nations, the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation and The State of California.   • We’re looking for a creative, smart, and organized team member to closely supervise our interactive projects to ensure they are completed on time and on budget with all the bells and whistles.

– 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, 1+ with interactive media design and development
– Bachelors degree (required)
– Experience with video production a big plus

– Juggle multiple contractors simultaneously with one hand behind your back
– Ability to evolve and art direct creative concepts and clearly convey ideas and expectations to team members

– Can shepherd the development of mobile apps with sophisticated functionality
– Adobe Creative Suite wizard
– Understands best practices for user interface design
– Comfortable with the highways and byways of HTML and CSS
– Familiar with Drupal, WordPress, other CMSs
– High comfort level with all-things-Mac
– Attack tech troubleshooting with gusto

– Excellent management and motivational skills
– Excellent writing, communication and follow-through skills
– Superb attention to detail and adept at time-management
– Talent for creative brainstorming
– Isn’t scared of social media
– Honed research skills
– Well-developed problem solving abilities
– Experience with information architecture

Reports to: President
The Vice President – Interactive Media is responsible for the project management of on-going projects and the creative output of our design and development team. This includes:
– Working collaboratively and driving current projects
– Participating in company strategizing
– Preparing and justifying estimates and progress reports
– Quality control
– Understanding the organization’s strategic goals and brand to support business development outreach, sales, proposal preparation and media production
– Keeping an eye and an ear on the pulse of new technology
– Making decisions on a daily basis that ensure both profitability and creative quality
– Leading client meetings in a professional, engaging, persuasive manner
– Assuring that timely communication occurs between all project stakeholders

Pay: Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience
